The Elephant Seals were slammed with the king tide that rocked the California coast during their birthing season.
For three days they fought for their lives in the surging waves! The newborn seal pups are particulary vulnerable as they can’t swim well or regulate their body temperatures in the frigid winter waters of the Pacific Ocean.
