A CurioCat student was awarded a 2021 National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) $2000 Momentum Grant! This award is given to students who display positive character qualities and a commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). The NSTA allotted 3 of these $2000 awards to students in the Southern California region. The CurioCat student will spend this grant money on STEM activities taking place Summer 2021. Wow, another great example of high school science research being rewarded! We are so proud of you!
